Hey guys!! I LOVE to read and ‘self improvement’ books (sounds SO much better than saying ‘self-help’ LOL) are my current obsession. If you have ever doubted your brilliance or your ability to achieve the life of your dreams than You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero is the book for you. Since I know life is busy and you may not have time to read the book right now I’ve compiled a few of my favorite quotes from the book.
Let me know in the comments which one is your favourite. Enjoy!!
“You are going to have to push past your fears, fail over and over again, and make a habit of doing things you’re not so comfy doing”
“When you learn to consciously master the energetic realm, believe in the not yet seen, and stay in your highest frequency, you harness your innate power to create the reality you desire.”
“You are the only you there is and ever will be. I repeat, you are the only you there is and ever will be. Do not deny the world its one and only chance to bask in your brilliance.”
“You are more than enough. Avoid comparison like the plague.”
“Instead of wasting hours and days and years trying to figure out your perfect next move, just DO something already. Oh the time we waste rolling ideas around in our heads, imagining what-ifs, coming up with perfect reasons why and then perfect reasons why not.”
“Don’t just hang your life over to your circumstances like a little wuss. You can take your life wherever you want it to go, so grab it by the nether regions and make doing things you love a priority.”
“Every night before you go to bed, review your day and either write down or mentally note ten things you can be grateful for in your life.”
“Do yourself a favour and use irritating situations and people as opportunities for growth, not pain”
“The people you surround yourself with are excellent mirrors for who you are and how much, or how little you love yourself.”
“So often, we pretend we’ve made a decision, when what we’ve really done is signed up to try until it gets to uncomfortable.”
“And whoever you are, puhleeze, stop saying how pathetic you are at making decisions. Erase the phrase “I don’t know” from your vocabulary and replace it with “I’ll know what to do soon enough”. Decide to become the person who makes quick, smart decisions and you will”
